We are looking for an experienced Agricultural Equipment Plant Operator to join our team. Specifically for operating and maintaining a self-propelled boomspray with optical spraying technology.

Task & Responsibilities
The role includes:
- Oversee the planting, cultivation and harvest of broadacre crops.
- Oversee, operate and maintain cropping machinery, including 4WD tractors, harvesters, sprayers, deep rippers, telehandlers and trucks
- Manage pest control, apply pesticides and chemicals to crops
- Specifically operate and maintain a 49m Goldacres G6 sprayer with Bilberry WeedDetect system. Including chemical batching, maintaining detailed electronic spray records, calibrating and optimising the green on green (GoG) camera detection system.
- Oversee the maintenance of farm infrastructure, such as fencing and water supply systems
- Supervise and train farm hands and mobile plant operators
- Supervise the daily operations and organise work routines
Qualification & Experience
Experience necessary:
- At least 12 months experience with optical spraying application. Bilberry or equivalent.
- AHCCHM304 – Transport and store chemicals certificate
- AHCCHM307 – Prepare and apply chemicals certificate
- Strong computer literacy with experience or programming certificate
