Flexible Hybrid Work | Supportive Team | Long-standing Family Business We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our client's close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a long-standing, family-owned business managing a portfolio of commercial property across multiple entities. You’ll enjoy a varied and hands-on role with flexible working arrangements, including the ability to work one day from home per week after a 3-month probation period. About the RoleWorking closely with the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:Assisting with month-end financial reporting and reconciliationsManaging accounts receivable and overseeing accounts payableMonthly invoicing for approximately 100 commercial tenantsAnnual rent reviews and credit control for overdue accountsMaintaining general ledgers across multiple entitiesReconciling bank accountsPreparing and maintaining a weekly agenda and regular reportsPreparation of Monthly & Quarterly BASOther Ad Hoc Tax Reporting as required What You’ll Bring3+ years’ experience in a similar bookkeeping or assistant accounting roleStrong knowledge of MYOB, Xero, and ExcelSolid understanding of accounting and financial reporting proceduresExcellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skillsA team player attitude with the ability to work independently when needed Why Join Us?
