We are a leading Australian Company engaged in Service, Sales and Distribution of Commercial Catering Equipment. We are currently seeking an Accountant – Business Support to fill this unique role that encompasses strong Financial reporting, commercial analysis, forecasting and management reporting. This will be an ideal role for an experience Accountant to join business units of US corporation, prides itself on bringing the best out of people and developing careers for the future. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant – Business Support will take the full ownership for the reporting function of Australian and New Zealand business units.

 About the role

As the Accountant within the Finance team providing business support, you will:

·       Preparation and submission of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Financial Statement with appropriate schedules to corporate and local office accurately and timely.

·       Manage internal and External Audit process.

·       Ensure the processing functions of the Finance department completed in accordance with the Financial policy of the company and local regulations.

·       Deliver efficient Commercial support including Management Reporting & Commercial Analysis to respective managers with meaningful comments.

·       Assist with Budgeting and Forecasting process.

·       Assist with the Account Receivable and Payable function.

·       Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement / streamlining.

·       Ensure financial control procedures as per the company policy have been adhered to.

·       Supervise monthly rollover of Financial Modules in the ERP system.

About you

·       Qualified Accountant with minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar function.

·       CPA/ACCA /CIMA accounting Qualification is highly regarded

·       Strong verbal and written communication with ability to interact with Management team and work with the Finance team to develop trusting and enduring relationship.

·       Ability to work under pressure while staying positive, enthusiastic, and ability to meet deadlines.

·       Advanced systems skills and prior experience with complex accounting software package

·       Prior experience in working with Pronto ERP system is desirable but not essential.

·       Advance excel skills and strong analytical skills with an eye for details.

·       ERP Systems skills with ability to work with data structures.
