Turn conversations into impact.
Are you a confident person who knows how to build rapport, handle objections and close a conversation?
Do you enjoy the challenge of turning a “no” into a “maybe” - and a “maybe” into a “yes”?
We’re looking for an experienced Outbound Sales Consultant to join our team and help some of Australia’s leading charities reconnect with people who have supported them in the past.
This isn't cold calling.
You'll be speaking with people who have previously chosen to support a charity, and your job is to understand what changed, reconnect them with the cause they once cared about, and confidently invite them to get involved again.
What you'll be doing

Make outbound calls to previous charity supporters and donors.

Build genuine rapport quickly and create meaningful conversations.

Understand why a supporter stopped giving and identify opportunities to re-engage them.

Clearly communicate the impact their support can make.

Use strong sales and influencing skills to overcome objections and hesitation.

Ask the right questions, listen carefully and tailor your approach to each conversation.

Confidently ask for the sale and successfully reactivate supporters.

Work towards individual and team sales targets.

Accurately record supporter information and outcomes in our systems.

Represent well-known charities professionally and passionately.

Contribute to a positive, competitive and high-performing team environment.

We're looking for someone who...
Has genuine sales experience.
You don't need to have worked in fundraising before, but you should be comfortable selling, influencing and asking for a commitment.
You'll ideally have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Outbound sales or telemarketing

Business development

Direct sales

Account management

Recruitment or recruitment sales

Real estate

Insurance

Membership sales

Retail sales

Hospitality sales

Fundraising

Most importantly, you're someone who:

Is confident speaking to people over the phone.

Isn't afraid of rejection or hearing “no”.

Can handle objections without becoming pushy or discouraged.

Knows how to build rapport quickly.

Can confidently ask for the sale.

Is motivated by targets and enjoys seeing measurable results.

Is naturally persuasive but genuinely cares about the person they're speaking to.

Can have a conversation rather than simply read from a script.

Is resilient, positive and competitive.

Takes pride in their communication and professionalism.

Why this role is different
You're not selling something people don't want.
You're reconnecting people with causes they have already chosen to support.
Every conversation starts with an existing connection - your job is to find out what's changed, remind them why they cared in the first place, and give them a reason to come back.
It's sales with a purpose.
What you'll get

$35–$36 per hour + super

Uncapped performance-based incentives

Full training and ongoing sales coaching

A supportive, energetic and competitive team environment

Clear performance targets and progression opportunities

Meaningful work supporting some of Australia's leading charities

Modern Osborne Park office + work from home opportunities available

Opportunity to develop your sales and communication skills

Regular team recognition and incentives

Ready to make your sales skills mean something?
If you're an experienced salesperson looking for a role where your ability to influence, connect and close can directly contribute to causes that matter, we'd love to hear from you.
