If you are passionate about great food, perform well under pressure and are seeking long-term career stability, we encourage you to apply. <h3>Benefits</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Competitive salary package of $79,600 plus superannuation, based on skills and experience.</li><li>Long-term career opportunities with a respected hospitality group committed to staff development and internal progression.</li><li>Supportive and professional team environment within one of Warrnambool's leading hospitality destinations.</li></ul> <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Prepare and cook meals in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards.</li><li>Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control.</li><li>Assist with menu planning and seasonal menu development.</li><li>Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS standards.</li><li>Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.</li><li>Minimise food wastage and maintain cost-effective kitchen practices.</li><li>Work efficiently during busy service periods.</li><li>Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen staff.</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Chef or Cook in a busy commercial kitchen.</li><li>Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred but not essential where sufficient experience can be demonstrated).</li><li>Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations and food safety requirements.</li><li>Excellent organisational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.</li><li>Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.</li></ul>
