This role is responsible for delivering engaging educational programs that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical and language development in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).</p><p>To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your qualifications and experience.</p><br><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Supportive and collaborative team environment.</li><li>Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.</li><li>Purpose-built learning environments and quality resources.</li><li>Opportunity to contribute to a highly regarded school readiness program.</li><li>Career growth opportunities within a growing childcare organisation.</li></ul><br><h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Plan, develop and implement educational programs and learning experiences in indoor and outdoor environments that support children's development and school readiness.</li><li>Provide a variety of play-based learning activities designed to develop motor skills, social interaction, confidence, creativity and independence.</li><li>Promote language and communication development through storytelling, music, role play, rhymes, conversations and group learning experiences.</li><li>Observe, assess and document children's development, learning outcomes and wellbeing, identifying any additional support needs where appropriate.</li><li>Monitor children's health, safety, nutrition and welfare, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment.</li><li>Maintain developmental records and prepare learning observations and progress reports.</li><li>Build positive relationships with families and discuss children's progress, achievements and developmental goals.</li><li>Attend parent meetings, team meetings, professional development activities and centre events.</li><li>Participate in family engagement and community-based programs that support children's learning and wellbeing.</li><li>Mentor and support student educators and trainees undertaking practical placements.</li></ul><br><h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent qualification) or Higher qualification in related field.</li><li>Current Teacher Registration</li><li>Current Working with Children Check.</li><li>Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.</li><li>Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).</li><li>Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Demonstrated experience working with children aged 0-6 years in an early learning environment.</li></ul>
