Currently the Viatris Carole Park Finance team is recruiting for an Analyst – Operations Finance to join the team! This role will be based at our Carole Park operations site.
Key duties of the Analyst – Operations Finance team include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Perform inventory valuation, obsolescence analysis and SAP Product Costing activities, including standard cost maintenance and Material Ledger processes.</li>
<li>Ensure accurate, reliable and compliant inventory and product costing information.</li>
<li>Maintain robust SOX and inventory controls, including transaction monitoring, reconciliations and investigations.</li>
<li>Support internal and external audits by providing accurate analysis, documentation and financial information.</li>
<li>Deliver accurate Month-End and Quarter-End activities, including journals, accruals, reclassifications and General Ledger reconciliations.</li>
<li>Provide meaningful analysis and insights to support local and global business decision-making.</li>
<li>Support forecasting and budgeting activities across operational costs, inventory and product costing.</li>
<li>Build and maintain Cost Accounting and Product Costing capability to meet evolving business requirements.</li>
<li>Contribute to processes, systems and controls improvements to enhance efficiency, data integrity and the quality of financial information.</li>
</ul>
To be considered for this role candidates should possess:
<ul>
<li>Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar;</li>
<li>Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or product-based environment is highly desirable;</li>
<li>Strong analytical and reporting skills, with advanced Excel capability.</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with SAP FI/CO modules are highly desirable;</li>
<li>Time management, prioritisation and organisation skills across a number of deliverables;</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to present information effectively and outstanding attention to detail;</li>
<li>Ability to innovate, challenge existing processes and find solutions;</li>
