Are you someone people trust when they need help calm, approachable, practical and genuinely respectful of people from different backgrounds?  The Opportunity:  This is much more than an administration role.  You'll be a key source of practical support for Murrakei's PALM workers, helping them navigate everyday life in Australia while looking out for their welfare and wellbeing.  You'll meet workers when they arrive, help them settle into accommodation, introduce them to their local community and assist them with practical essentials such as banking, superannuation, tax, medical services and transport.  As their placement progresses, you'll continue to check in, help workers access appropriate support, coordinate accommodation requirements and respond when welfare, medical or other issues arise.  At the end of their placement, you'll help workers prepare for departure and make the transition home as smooth as possible.  About Murrakei Farms:  Murrakei Farms is a Tasmanian berry-growing business based in Red Hills, bringing together people from different backgrounds, cultures and parts of the world.  Our Murrakei Standards reflect how we work every day: coming to work ready, doing the job well and taking responsibility for our actions.
