Exciting Opportunity: Bookkeeper for a development companyA highly successful, development company is looking to expand their finance team in Brisbane.  This new vacancy for a Bookkeeper to work closely with the Financial Controller and support the business's continued success.  This is a hands-on transactional role.  The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to improving accounting procedures and policies, and to assist the Financial Controller to enhance team efficiency and compliance.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with bookkeeping for a group of entities: Prepare reconciliations and/or check reconciliation of bank accounts Reconciliation of all inter-entity company loans and invoicing Coding MYOB files Credit card reconciliations Assist with Accounts Payable when necessary Sound payroll knowledge  Assist with Workcover declarations and other calculations Assistance with managing commercial leasing  Ensuring deadlines are met Assist the Financial Controller SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 3-5 years experience in a bookkeeping role Experience in commercial real estate, development or construction valued.   Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software, MYOB experience preferable Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to problem solve and find system and process efficiencies.
