Make a real difference supporting young people to re-engage with learning in a caring, values-driven school community.
Play a vital role in supporting young people with their learning, build resilience and achieve positive personal outcomes. Working closely with teachers and the wider support team, you will provide day-to-day learning and wellbeing support for students, particularly those experiencing complex or challenging circumstances.
This position supports the Secondary School and is Term Time Only, requiring availability between 7:00AM and 3:06PM.
Your Day-to-day Will InvolveYou are a compassionate and grounded youth worker who genuinely enjoys supporting young people to reach their potential. You bring patience, emotional intelligence and a calm presence, even in challenging situations. You understand the importance of consistency, boundaries and unconditional positive regard when working with young people who may have experienced trauma.
You work well as part of a team, communicate clearly with staff and families, and are comfortable balancing hands-on student support with required documentation and reporting. Most importantly, you are aligned with and respectful of Carinity’s Christian ethos and values, and you bring those values to life through your everyday actions.
