We are seeking a qualified Fitter to conduct repairs and routine maintenance on company assets including plant, trucks, and specialised asphalt and profiling equipment. This role plays a key part in our operations team, ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable, and fully operational.

Task & responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical faults and recommend solutions
• Maintain a clean and efficient workshop environment
• Complete risk assessments and relevant paperwork
• Order parts and ensure timely completion of repairs
• Adhere to all WHS, environmental and quality standards

Qualification & experience

• Trade qualification as a Workshop Maintenance Fitter or equivalent
• Proven mechanical experience with plant, trucks and heavy equipment including asphalt pavers and profilers
• Ability to diagnose faults and implement repairs
• White Card and relevant equipment certifications
• Strong understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS) principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
