What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate CNC machinery for cutting, drilling, and machining joinery components

  • Read and interpret production drawings and cutting files

  • Load materials and monitor machine performance throughout production

  • Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and adjustments as required

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish standards are met

  • Work closely with drafting, production, and assembly teams

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Assist with general factory duties when required

  • Report machine faults, maintenance requirements, or production issues promptly

  • Preparing high-quality joinery components for commercial projects

What We’re Looking For

  • Cert III in Cabinet Making (highly regarded)

  • White Card (essential)

  • Previous experience in cabinet making or commercial joinery

  • Previous experience operating CNC machinery within a joinery, cabinetmaking, or woodworking environment

  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production documentation

  • Previous experience in woodworking, cabinetry or joinery manufacturing

  • Experience with nested-based manufacturing and panel processing machinery highly regarded

  • Understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and machine optimisation

  • Confidence using woodworking machinery

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

  • Reliable attendance and positive attitude

  • Team player mentality

  • Commitment to safety and professionalism

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

  • Forklift licence advantageous
