Wind Turbine Technician - (Electrical)

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We currently have opportunities for enthusiastic and reliable Electrical Technicians to work on various maintenance and servicing projects and then upcoming construction projects in wind farms across Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland. Your role will be varied, one day it could be electrical servicing works, fault finding, and the lock out tag out of turbines; the next day be part of a team conducting a generator replacement or bolt tensioning works, then the opportunity to move onto our upcoming installation and construction projects where it will involve the electrical fit out of the wind turbines including High Voltage switching and terminations. You will also be someone who is keen to undertake further Client Pre-requisite training, both e-learning and classroom modules WHO ARE YOU? Along with a proven background as an Electrical

Qualification & experience

Wind Turbine Technician you will have:

• Relevant Diploma qualification/ Trade Certificate

• Current Drivers’ Licence

• Global Wind Organisation BST Training (GWO Current within 2 years expiry)

• General Construction Induction (White Card)

• Current CPR/LVR (valid within last 12 months)

A few extra desirable qualifications:

• Wind Farm/Turbine experience

• Confined Space (valid within 2 years)

• High Voltage Switching (valid within 2 years)

• Telehandler

• EWP

• Rigging and Dogging
