About NAISDA
NAISDA is Australia’s leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performing arts training organisation. In 2026, we celebrate 50 years of shaping Strong Lives, Vibrant Communities and Creative Futures through dance and performing arts education. We’re seeking a proactive Facilities Officer to support the campus maintenance and help ensure our spaces are welcoming, well-maintained and meet all safety and operational standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with the Training Team to implement learning and support plans to maximise student outcomes

  •  Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, their families and communities

  • Source and liaise with medical and wellbeing providers

  • Coordinate ABSTUDY, Centrelink and other support services

  • Support accommodation placements, including communication with homestay families

  • Drive students to appointments as required

About You

  • You must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander to apply under section 14(d) of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977

  • Tertiary qualifications in welfare, counselling or similar; or equivalent work experience

  • Relevant experience in a similar role or social services

  • Strong understanding of, and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities, with established community connections

  • Deadly interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage, influence and motivate

  • High level of organisation skills and attention to detail

  • Intermediate MS Office skills

  • Current NSW driver’s licence

  • Experience in the not-for-profit or performing arts sector (desirable)
