Welder

A full time qualified boiler maker/welder tradesman is required for our company, Red Elk Foods Pty Ltd, situated in the Riverina, NSW.

Duties and responsibilities include:-

• Ability to read drawings for new fabrication
• Pass a stick, plate & structural steel welding test
• Repair and maintain existing buildings, infrastructure, fencing & heavy machinery
• Have attention to detail & a high-quality workmanship standard
• Provide trade guidance & assistance to other employees
• Co-ordinate & supervise non-trades employees within a work team
• Assist with construction of new infrastructure
• Remove faulty or damaged equipment & fittings
• Install new or replacement equipment & fittings
• Operate farm-related vehicles, plant, machinery & equipment
• Carry out duties with minimal supervision
• Maintain workshop & tools in clean & organized manner
• Monitor inventory & supplies
• Use of PPE equipment
• Perform other duties as required

About You:-

• Be an enthusiastic, positive & willing team member with good communication skills
• Be punctual & reliable
• Have at least 5 years welding experience
• Have a car licence
• Be physically fit & provide a health declaration
• Provide a National Police Check.

Salary:-

The annual salary for the successful application will start at $76,600 based on a full time position working 38 hours per week.
