About the Role
This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing a warehouse team. You will spend most of your time on the warehouse floor, driving performance, safety, quality, and a strong team culture while ensuring customer requirements are met.
This is a full-time position with regular hours:
Four 10-hour days a week (Monday – Thursday) or (Tuesday – Friday) OR Five 8-hour days a week (Monday - Friday)
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse and despatch operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities
Supervise and support warehouse staff including task allocation, performance monitoring, and identifying training requirements
Maintain accurate inventory control through stock monitoring, cycle counts, stocktakes and warehouse management systems (WMS)
Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time
Promote and enforce workplace health and safety standards across all warehouse activities whilst adhering to company policies and procedures
Train and onboard new employees on warehouse procedures, systems, and safety requirements
Investigate and resolve operational issues, stock discrepancies, and workflow challenges
Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to support smooth operations
Monitor warehouse equipment and organise maintenance and servicing when required
Prepare operational reports and productivity metrics to support business performance
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse processes, procedures, and space utilisation
Maintain an organised, efficient, and high-performing warehouse environment focused on accuracy and customer service

Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF)
Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
Sound knowledge of risk management principles
Ability to take initiative while contributing to team outcomes
Ability to use warehouse management systems and other relevant software
Desirable
Certificate IV in Leadership and Management or similar
Certificate IV Transport and Distribution (Warehousing & Storage) or similar
Experience in a similar industry environment
Current Class C Drivers Licence and reliable transport
Required
National Police Certificate (also known as a National Police Check) or willingness to obtain
Able to complete a Pre Employment Medical Assessment
