About the Role

We are currently seeking motivated General Assistants to join a major warehouse fit-out project in Horsley Park. Working with a leading specialist in industrial infrastructure and large-scale installations, you will play a key role in setting up a brand-new, world-class distribution facility.

This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, using tools and being part of a large-scale site transformation.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the installation team, your daily tasks will include:

• System Assembly: Building rows of metal shelving and high-density storage units using mallets, screws and basic hand tools.

• Infrastructure Setup: Creating "pick faces" and preparing the warehouse for high-volume operations.

• Precision Fitting: Measuring panels and components to ensure all installations meet technical schematics.

• Detailing: Fitting corkboards to shelving units and installing metal dividers.

• Manual Tasks: Assembling cardboard storage components and ensuring they are correctly placed within the new systems.

Requirements / What You’ll Need

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Valid White Card: Mandatory for site access.

• Current Police Check: Must be clear and ready to provide.

• Physical Fitness: This is a manual role requiring stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.

• Tool Competency: Comfortable using basic hand tools (mallets, screwdrivers, etc.).

• Experience: Background in warehousing, construction or general labor is highly preferred.

Uniform & Safety Requirements

Safety is paramount on this site. You will be required to wear:

• Hard Hat

• Yellow Hi-Vis Vest

• Steel-cap Boots
