Task & responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and seating customers in a professional and friendly manner

• Presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and answering customer enquiries

• Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them to kitchen staff

• Serving meals and beverages efficiently while maintaining high service standards

• Processing payments and handling point of sale transactions

• Preparing and maintaining dining areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards

• Assisting with opening and closing duties as required

• Working collaboratively with kitchen and front of house staff to ensure smooth service operations

• Maintaining compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety procedures

Qualification & experience

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess:

• At least 12 months of relevant full time work experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced team environment

• Positive attitude and professional presentation

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organised during busy service periods

• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe service practices

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
