The Yard Wine Company (TYWCo) is seeking an experienced Senior Vineyard Worker to join our team at Franklin River, in Western Australia’s Great Southern wine region.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in contributing to high-quality vineyard operations.
The successful candidate will be required to live and work locally; FIFO arrangements are not available.
Benefits
Salary $77,000 + Super
Task & responsibilities
- Carrying out general vineyard duties, including pruning, planting, canopy management and harvesting
- Operating vineyard machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Supporting irrigation and pest/disease control programs
- Following instructions from supervisors and working as part of a team
- Assisting with vineyard maintenance tasks
- Adhering to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Recording basic operational data as required
Qualification & experience
- Experience in vineyard work or other agricultural settings (at least 12 months of full-time experience)
- Willingness to follow directions
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- A valid driver’s licence is desirable
- Chemical handling certification is an advantage
