Full time and Part time Veterinarian’s required with immediate start

We are looking for an enthusiastic vet to join our friendly mixed animal practice in the quiet town of Parkes in the Central West. We offer a variety of services including, amongst others, equine reproduction, equine dental and cattle pregnancy testing. Parkes is the home of the Elvis Festival in January and the Parkes Observatory also the Trundle ABBA Festival in May only a short drive away. Parkes is a great town to enjoy a quiet coffee on a weekend morning or a nice beverage on a Friday or Saturday night to 'wet your whistle' at one of the local pubs. There is usually some form of event or activity happening locally or in a surrounding township has most things you would need from a country town. Larger towns of Dubbo and Orange are just a short drive away to enjoy more sights and delights of the Central West.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified and registered veterinarian (eligible to practice in NSW)

• Confident with Routine consults and surgeries

• Friendly and professional with good communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm or part thereof, no Saturday morning opening hours at this stage

• After hours availability (light on call requirement)

• Experience with or willingness to do some mixed large animal work – Not essential
