We are seeking an experienced and driven Venue Manager to lead the team at our brand-new nightclub located in the heart of Fortitude Valley.
Positioned on the iconic Brunswick Street, this exciting new venue is set to become one of Brisbane’s premier nightlife destinations. Featuring an immersive atmosphere, cutting-edge design, and high-energy entertainment experience, the venue will redefine late-night entertainment in Fortitude Valley.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee both the operational and administrative functions of the venue, including:
Managing the day-to-day operations of a high-volume nightclub venue
Stock control, rostering, wage management, and expense control
Planning and coordinating functions, events, and entertainment
Building and maintaining strong relationships with promoters and industry partners
Opening and closing procedures, including balancing floats and cash handling
Driving exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high service standards
Leading recruitment, induction, training, and development of staff
Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, workplace health and safety, and all relevant regulations
Creating a positive team culture focused on performance, professionalism, and customer service
Driving revenue growth while managing budgets, wages, and cost of goods targets
To succeed in this role, you will be a hands-on hospitality leader with proven nightclub or late-night venue management experience. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
You will also possess:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Venue Manager in a similar high-volume hospitality environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire teams
A professional, reliable, and proactive approach to venue management
Strong understanding of hospitality operations, compliance, and best practice procedures
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Experience with POS systems, rostering platforms, and Google Suite
A strong commercial mindset with experience managing KPIs, labour costs, and revenue targets
Current RSA, RMLV, and Approved Manager’s Licence
