Task & responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate all front-of-house operations, including dine-in and takeaway services.

- Lead, supervise, and roster staff across shifts, ensuring optimal team performance and coverage.

- Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness, and readiness for service at all times.

- Develop and maintain SOPs and daily checklists for service quality and consistency.

- Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and manage inventory efficiently.

- Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, OH&S, and local licensing requirements.

- Respond to customer feedback and service issues professionally and promptly.

- Report on KPIs, sales performance, and staffing needs to business owner(s).

- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews of team members.


Qualification & experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospitality venue or shift management.

- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.

- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

- Experience with rostering, stock control, and supplier coordination.

- Knowledge of workplace health and safety, food safety, and RSA standards.

- Able to work flexibly across weekends, nights, and public holidays.

- Strong multitasking and organisational ability in fast-paced environments.

- Must hold a valid RSA certificate.

- Hospitality qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV or Diploma in Hospitality Management) preferred but not essential.
