Our client is an established accounting firm with a long history in Newcastle Due to sustained growth, a need has arisen for Undergraduate & Graduate Accountants. The firm places a strong emphasis on training, development & providing a career for young, aspiring accountants. They are involved with the local community, participating in charity events and maintaining regular social functions throughout the year.

The Role 

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing tax returns for companies, trusts & individuals
• Drafting tax research for Senior Accountants
• Maintaining share registers for clients
• Bookkeeping
• Option to work in audit if desired

The Person

• Currently studying at university or recently completed
• Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
• Motivated to learn and create a career in accounting
• Practical experience in accounting (highly desirable)
