The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently across designated routes while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company standards. Task & responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles to transport goods safely to various destinations 
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight 
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules in a timely manner 
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks 
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage 
• Comply with road transport laws, fatigue management, and safety regulations 
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members 
• Identify and report mechanical issues or delays promptly 

Qualification & experience

• Relevant heavy vehicle driver’s licence (HR/HC/MC preferred) 
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant driving experience
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and transport procedures 
• Ability to operate and maintain heavy vehicles safely 
• Strong time management and organisational skills 
• Basic literacy and numeracy for record-keeping and documentation
