Task & responsibilities

• Driving heavy vehicles to transport goods to various destinations
• Loading and unloading freight using appropriate equipment and safe handling practices
• Securing loads to ensure safe transit in accordance with regulations
• Conducting pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintaining accurate logbooks, delivery documentation, and records
• Planning routes to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations
• Complying with fatigue management, mass limits, and road safety laws
• Performing minor vehicle maintenance and ensuring cleanliness
• Communicating effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members

Qualification & experience

• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence (HR/HC/MC preferred)
• Minimum 1–3 years of truck driving experience
• Good understanding of Australian road transport regulations
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Clean driving record
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
