Main Track Transport Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and reliable Truck Drivers to support its growing interstate and intrastate freight operations across Australia. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating late-model heavy vehicles to deliver freight on time while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism.

Task & responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy combination and multi-combination vehicles for long-haul and regional freight.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring freight is secured and handled correctly.
• Perform daily pre-start, in-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and transport documentation.
• Comply with fatigue management requirements, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues.
• Maintain vehicle presentation and assist with general fleet care.
• Support safe working practices and maintain compliance with transport regulations.

Qualification & experience

• Valid Australian HC, MC, or higher heavy vehicle licence (essential).
• Minimum 1–3 years’ commercial truck driving experience (linehaul/long-haul preferred).
• Good knowledge of load restraint and fatigue management practices.
• Strong understanding of road transport compliance and safety standards.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Professional communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic infringements.
