Task & responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with road rules and company procedures
• Transport goods to designated locations within scheduled delivery timeframes
• Conduct pre-start, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload goods, ensuring cargo is secured appropriately
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logbooks, and trip records
• Follow workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and fatigue management guidelines
• Report vehicle defects, incidents, or delays promptly to management
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle

Qualification & experience

• Valid Australian Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence (HR / HC / MC as applicable)
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant truck driving experience
• Sound knowledge of Australian road transport laws and safety standards
• Ability to complete logbooks and transport documentation accurately
• Good communication and time management skills
• Physically fit and capable of handling loading/unloading tasks
