Truck Driver

We are looking for a Truck Driver who is responsible for the secure, punctual, and efficient delivery of goods to designated locations. This role includes operating heavy vehicles in accordance with traffic regulations and company guidelines, handling loading and unloading operations, and keeping precise records of all deliveries.

Task & responsibilities

• Evaluating cargo weight and distribution to maintain legal limits and balance.
• Properly fastening and covering goods to prevent damage or loss during transport.
• Checking consignment documents, verifying the condition of items, and obtaining delivery confirmations.
• Aligning vehicles precisely to facilitate smooth loading and unloading processes.
• Operating hoists, lift systems, and tipping mechanisms to manage cargo safely.
• Strictly following safety procedures when handling and securing loads.
• Conducting regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with regulations.

Qualification & experience

• Valid Australian Heavy Vehicle Licence .
• Relevant qualification and minimum 1 year of experience in truck driving or freight transport.
• Knowledge of load restraint principles and safe manual handling techniques.
• Familiarity with transport regulations, fatigue management, and road safety practices.
• Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately and use basic electronic devices .
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
