As part of our Operations & Customer Service team, you will play a critical role in the day to day coordination of freight movements across our national network.

This position is ideal for someone with prior experience in:

• Transport operations

• Freight allocation

• Linehaul coordination

• Customer service within logistics

• Warehousing administration

• Freight forwarding or distribution

You will work closely with customers, subcontractors, warehouse staff, drivers, and interstate branches to ensure freight is executed efficiently and professionally.

• Processing customer bookings via phone and email

• Coordinating daily freight movements and operational requirements

• Generating consignments and preparing linehaul manifests

• Coordinating delivery timeslots into major distribution centres

• Liaising with drivers, subcontractors, depots, and warehouse teams

• Managing customer enquiries regarding deliveries, PODs, ETAs, and service updates

• Monitoring freight movements and resolving operational issues proactively

• Communicating daily with interstate branches to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements

• Providing administrative support to the operations and warehouse teams

We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced transport environment and can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

• Previous experience within the transport & logistics industry highly regarded

• Understanding of palletised freight operations and linehaul movements

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy operations environment

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Reliable, punctual, and team oriented attitude

• Confidence using transport management systems (TransVirtual) and general computer software

• Experience with manifesting, bookings, freight tracking, or customer service advantageous
