Position: Full time / Part time Trainer and Assessor (Clinical Skills)
Location: Aspley, Brisbane
Hours: Minimum of 20 hours per week (negotiable)
At Health Industry Training, we are passionate about delivering high-quality training in accessible, supportive, and flexible environments across Australia. Our courses are tailored to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to secure roles in the health sector.
We are currently looking for motivated and supportive Trainers and Assessors to teach in one or more of the following areas:
allied health;
primary health care;
and community services.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver training and assessment to students, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Use a variety of teaching techniques and styles that are appropriate for the subject matter.
Ensure adherence to adult learning principles and the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (2015) to help students achieve required learning outcomes.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with students to support their progress.
Prepare and submit all required documentation within specified timeframes.
Provide regular feedback and progress reports to Health Industry Training staff as needed.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Relevant industry experience in areas such as an nursing, Indigenous health, allied health and community services.
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an enthusiastic and approachable manner.
Excellent computer and organisational abilities.
A genuine passion for education and the development of students in the health sector.
