We have a diverse range of clients which provide the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to work on a varied portfolio. With two recently appointed new Partners we are looking to grow our firm.

About the Role

Working in Newcastle, you will be a part of a young dynamic team of dedicated professionals who aspire to provide exceptional quality service to their clients.

This role will suit someone with strong communication skills, professional presentation & demonstrated initiative.

This job is ideal for someone seeking a career rather than just a job.

Duties will include:

• Processing source data into financial statements

• Preparation and maintenance of high quality work papers for clients

• Completion of special assignments for the firm as required

• Preparation and presentation of staff training when required

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate must be able to work fulltime.

Prior experience working in a chartered accounting firm in Australia would be highly regarded.

To be considered for this position you will also need to have:

• A passion for learning

• Be skilled at using Microsoft Excel

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency including formulas is required

• Very high level of attention to detail

• A co-operative approach & be a strong team player

• Be prepared to contribute to team targets

• A desire to become the best in the profession

You must be either studying or have completed a Bachelor degree in Business/Commerce majoring in Accounting in an Australia university as a minimum & have a desire to complete your CA or CPA.

Candidates must be Australian citizens to be eligible for this position.
