What You Will Be Doing
As a Storeperson / Trades Assistant, you will be working within a busy workshop environment based in Eagle Farm, supporting daily operations and ensuring the smooth running of the workshop. You will assist with parts handling, general workshop duties, and provide support to trades staff as required. Your duties will include;

  • Picking and packing parts and materials
  • Ordering and maintaining stock levels
  • General storeperson duties within the workshop
  • Assisting trades staff with day-to-day tasks
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Supporting maintenance and repair activities on equipment
  • Handling and moving equipment and materials safely

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Previous experience within the automotive mechanical industry
  • Strong understanding of workshop and stores operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • Proactive approach with a willingness to assist across multiple areas

What You Will Need
Valid C Class Drivers Licence (non-restricted) mandatory
Experience in automotive mechanical industries mandatory
Medium Rigid (MR) Licence (highly desirable)
Forklift Licence (LF) (highly desirable)
Experience in stores, including ordering and picking parts (desirable)
Experience with small engines, generators, or pump maintenance and repairs (desirable)
