Task & responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain NBN and telecommunications equipment
• Install, terminate, test, and repair telecommunications cabling and network systems
• Perform fibre optic cable splicing and jointing works
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on communication systems
• Read and interpret technical drawings, network plans, and specifications
• Conduct testing and maintenance to ensure network performance and reliability
• Ensure all work complies with workplace safety regulations and Australian industry standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects within deadlines
• Travel to and work across different residential and commercial client locations as required

Qualification & experience

• Diploma in Telecommunications or related qualification
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
• Experience in NBN installation and telecommunications cabling preferred
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Good communication and time management skills
