The Tax Help Champion is a friendly and tech savvy Champion who works one on one with the community to lodge their tax returns throughout the tax period.
The Tax Help Champion has a basic knowledge of computers and is able to navigate IT systems (eg mygov platform) .
Responsibilities include:
- Registering as a Volunteer with the ATO Tax Help Program
- Complete the online Tax Help Training Modules
- Conduct in person appointments with clients to support them with lodging their
tax returns through the mygov platform.
- Register clients with mygov if they do not have an online account.
