About the Role
We’re seeking a team member who is passionate about people and brimming with inspiration on how to entice, onboard and engage talent who share our values and can support the current and future needs of our growing client base.
This position is a Part-time Fixed term opportunity (0.6 or 0.8ETF) covering parental leave and will include a comprehensive handover period to ensure you are set up for success.
Reporting to the General Manager – People and Culture this position is an integral role within our tight knit P&C Team. You will be the central partner to other operational workgroups, and work collaboratively with our client intake, program coordination and scheduling teams to understand and develop recruitment campaigns to meet workforce needs.
In managing the recruitment function, you will be the face of the organisation to candidates and be involved in all activities across the lifecycle including job ads, interviews, suitability assessment, candidate management, industry compliance checking, contract execution, onboarding and inductions.
The main responsibilities of your role will include:
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to pipeline candidates matched to current and emerging business needs
- Ensuring optimal candidate experience through effective communication and engagement
- Leading candidate onboarding, induction and early-stage check-in’s
- Managing candidate data quality across recruitment technology platforms
- Managing attraction and retention data analytics to improve candidate experience and organisational outcomes
- Shaping and executing talent acquisition and employee retention strategy
- Supporting positive culture and employee recognition programs

Desirable requirements for the role include:
- 2-3 years of experience in a comparable recruitment focused role
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline
- Experience recruiting within a Community Services, Disability or Aged Care context
- Knowledge and understanding of talent acquisition and retention strategies
- Familiarity with JobAdder, Referoo, Onboarded is a bonus
- Personal drive to build networks of relationships to achieve desired outcomes
- A team first mindset, and a willingness to advance your own and others growth
- Independence, initiative and an ability to get things done
- Must hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
