We are seeking an experienced Systems & Cloud Engineer to support a major infrastructure and cloud uplift program across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments for a nationally recognised NFP organisation. 

This is a hands-on contract role where you will play a key part in modernising and optimising core IT infrastructure, improving security posture, and enabling a cloud-first operating model.

You will work closely with internal IT teams, project stakeholders, and vendors to deliver scalable, secure, and high performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and support Azure infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS)
• Lead and contribute to Microsoft 365 uplift initiatives (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
• Support migration of on-premises workloads to Azure and cloud native services
• Manage and optimise Azure Active Directory/EntraID, including identity and access management
• Implement and maintain endpoint management solutions (Intune/Autopilot)
• Contribute to security uplift initiatives across M365 and Azure environments
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and platform issues
• Collaborate with project teams on infrastructure transformation initiatives
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and runbooks
• Ensure solutions align with best practice, governance, and security standards

Kew Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer/Cloud Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, storage, governance)
  • Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
• Experience with Azure AD/EntraID (identity, conditional access, MFA)
• Experience with Intune/Endpoint Manager
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, identity, and cloud platforms
• Experience working in project or transformation environments
• Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem & cloud)
• Scripting/automation (PowerShell)
• Exposure to Azure security tools (Defender, Sentinel)
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AZ-104, MS-102 etc.)
