The Children's Services Systems & Administration Manager is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and high-quality operation of systems, administration, and financial processes across YMCA Brisbane's Children's Services portfolio.
Leading a multidisciplinary team, this role sits at the intersection of systems, data, finance, and operations - driving continuous improvement, supporting service delivery, and enabling informed decision-making through reliable systems and insights.
You will play a pivotal role in optimising business systems, leading projects, improving data capabilities, and strengthening operational performance across a large, multi-site service environment.
What the Role Entails:
- Systems & Technology Leadership: Ownership of core business systems, ensuring they are effective, integrated, and continuously improved to meet operational needs.
- Project Delivery: Leading end-to-end implementation of system upgrades and new technologies, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and aligned to strategy.
- Operational Excellence: Ensuring administrative processes, workflows, and support functions are efficient, scalable, and consistently delivered to a high standard.
- Financial Governance & Compliance: Oversight of childcare financial operations, ensuring compliance with Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and relevant legislation, and accuracy across billing, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Data & Insights: Providing timely, accurate reporting and analytics to support decision-making, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: Leading, developing, and supporting a team across systems, administration, and accounts to deliver strong performance and engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partnering with internal leaders, service teams, and external providers to ensure systems and processes support service delivery outcomes.
- Risk, Compliance & Security: Ensuring strong data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks are in place and maintained.

You Bring:
- Proven experience in systems, operations, or administration leadership roles
- Strong capability in project management and delivering system improvements
- Experience overseeing or working closely with financial processes and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams
- Confidence working with data, reporting, and analytics to inform decisions
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Highly desirable:
- Experience in Children's Services, OSHC, Early Learning or Not-for-Profit sectors
- Knowledge of Child Care Subsidy (CCS), Family Assistance Law, or regulatory frameworks
- Background in accounts (debtors/creditors) or financial operations
