We are currently seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to join our team, with the role based in Marrickville, NSW. This position is 38 hours per week, and the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience and hold bachelor qualification in networking. A competitive salary of $79,000 to $84,000 plus superannuation, is on offer.

Task & responsibilities
- Administer, maintain and support internal ICT systems, operating environments, software platforms, user devices and related infrastructure.
- Install, configure and maintain laptops, Mac devices, Chromebox touchscreens, printers and other ICT equipment for staff and operational locations.
- Configure and support Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Slack, Google Workspace and other cloud-based business applications.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, Wi-Fi, printer, connectivity, device access and application issues.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, shared devices and system settings to ensure secure and reliable system access.
- Monitor system performance, availability and reliability, and resolve issues to minimise disruption to business and production operations.
- Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, patching, device checks and preventive ICT support tasks.
- Support inventory, production, maintenance and operational software systems used for stock control, workflows, reporting and equipment maintenance.
- Troubleshoot software interfaces, connected devices and system integration issues linked to production and operational technology.
- Maintain backup practices, system logs, support records, change records and troubleshooting documentation.
- Prepare and update ICT procedures, user guides, device setup instructions and internal support documentation.
- Liaise with external software vendors, equipment suppliers and service providers regarding faults, upgrades, support and system integration.
- Test software updates, system changes and device configurations before rollout to identify errors, compatibility issues and operational risks.
- Train and guide staff on Microsoft Outlook, collaboration tools, device use and common ICT support procedures.
- Assist with ICT projects, including device rollouts, software implementation, system improvements and handover to users.
- Review existing ICT systems and recommend improvements to system reliability, performance, security, documentation and support processes.
