About Australasian Academy of Higher Education:
Australasian Academy of Higher Education (AAHE) is a new entrant to higher education which aims to prepare a new generation of learners for the new generation of technological careers. When we begin admitting students in 2024/25, we will prioritise the quality of our learning and teaching above all things. In keeping with our focus on technology, we will deploy educational technologies to enable our students to learn anywhere anytime and to participate in class remotely if they so desire. Through the use of technology we will pilot new forms of course design and delivery, such as by building units in collaboration with leading scholars around the world and involving those scholars in the delivery of our courses. We will closely monitor developments in industry and continually update our courses to ensure our students are prepared for the careers of the future. Beginning with cybersecurity, AAHE will target the worldwide skills shortage in technology-related disciplines. In the years to come, we will add further technology professions in demand to our suite of offerings, we will position those programs at different levels of the Australian Qualifications Framework and we will experiment with short courses outside of Australia's regulatory framework altogether. In this way, we intend to be known as an innovator and a provider of choice for students from diverse academic backgrounds.
