About the Role

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the store's performance while ensuring every customer receives a warm welcome, professional advice, and a premium shopping experience.

You will lead by example, developing a team that is knowledgeable, engaged, and committed to providing expert advice across our extensive range of professional haircare, beauty, and salon products.

A key focus of this role is ensuring that every customer is greeted promptly, feels genuinely valued, and leaves with the right products and advice for their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Service Excellence

• Create a customer-first culture throughout the store.

• Ensure every customer is greeted promptly and professionally.

• Build long-term customer relationships based on trust and expert advice.

• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care.

• Drive customer loyalty and Hairpoints membership growth.

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members.

• Ensure all staff maintain strong product knowledge across all brands and product categories.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and ongoing coaching.

• Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

• Lead by example through outstanding service and professionalism.

Sales & Business Performance

• Drive sales growth and profitability.

• Monitor and achieve store KPIs and financial targets.

• Encourage consultative selling, up-selling, and cross-selling.

• Identify opportunities to improve store performance and customer engagement.

Store Operations

• Manage rosters, wages, inventory, and stock control.

• Ensure merchandising standards are maintained.

• Coordinate promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment.

About You

You are an experienced retail leader who genuinely enjoys working with people and developing teams.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience managing a retail store or large retail team.

• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

• Strong leadership and coaching skills.

• Experience driving sales and achieving business targets.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• A proactive, hands-on leadership style.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Hair and beauty industry experience is desirable but not essential. We are open to experienced retail leaders from other customer-focused industries who are passionate about people, service, and team development.

What We Offer

• Salary package of $75,000 – $85,000 plus Superannuation.
