Key Responsibilities 

• Measuring, cutting, shaping and finishing natural and engineered stone materials including marble, granite, quartz and porcelain. 

• Interpreting technical drawings, shop drawings and specifications to produce accurate stone components. 

• Fabricating stone benchtops, wall panels, vanities, reception counters and other custom stone features. •

Operating stone cutting machinery, bridge saws, polishers and other specialised tools and equipment. 

• Assembling, finishing and polishing stone surfaces to achieve high-quality finishes. 

• Installing stone products on-site including benchtops, splashbacks, cladding and decorative stone features. • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety requirements, building standards and project specifications. 

• Coordinating with cabinet makers, installers, and site supervisors during installation works. 

• Maintaining a clean and organised workshop and ensuring proper handling of stone materials. 

Skills and Experience 

• Relevant trade qualification 

• 3 years experience as a Stonemason. 

• Experience working with natural and engineered stone products. 

• Experience operating stone fabrication machinery and hand tools. 

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

• Strong work ethic and reliability.
