There are immediate General Adult vacancies with Greater Newcastle Mental Health Service, and an eligibility list will be created for future fixed term and permanent roles General Adult or Consultation Liaison Psychiatry roles with other HNEMH facilities - Hunter Valley Mental Health Service (Maitland) and Manning Mental Health Service (Taree).

Our care spans all ages and levels - from early intervention to inpatient and community-based recovery services. Our services are structured by geographic areas and age groups - child & adolescent, adult, and older persons - and are supported by skilled multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, registrars, allied health, nurses, and administrative staff. Consultants work collaboratively and may provide peer support and cross-cover across the Greater Newcastle and Lake Macquarie regions.
