As Culinary Leader, you will craft food experiences across your designated Outlet, supervising and contributing to food production, ensuring the high quality of food and presentation across the Outlet, ensuring the organization of service periods and maintaining high levels of service delivery, quality product and teamwork to ensure a seamless and exceptional dining experience.
As seasoned Chef you will coordinate the output and quality standards of designated Outlets – delegating duties and responsibilities to ensure service standards are met. As part of our Kitchen Team, you will be working to meet and exceed your Outlet KPIs including; customer experience, colleague engagement and wellbeing and outlet profitability and productivity. You will also support kitchen cleanliness and maintenance, HACCAP Compliance and health and safety.

The Sous Chef assists Senior Chefs with planning, implementation and execution of innovative and distinctive Menus, optimising the use of quality seasonal produce, create dining trends and enhance food cost performance based on menu engineering analysis.
Supervises the food production for directed food service outlets (revenue and non-revenue generating) in the hotel by the Senior Chefs.
Assists Chef de Cuisine in creative menu planning for directed outlets and ensures that all menus items have recipe costings to deliver target profit margins at designated sale prices. Support Senior Chefs with training and supervises the team to ensure consistency of quality and menu items.
Supports the Food Safety Management System for kitchen areas, undertaking a daily walk-through of kitchen and fridges, and ensuring that food sampling and record keeping requirements are accurately executed. Together with the Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, Executive Chef and Chief Steward ensures the HACCAP compliance of The Property.
Ensures that work methods are safe and appropriately trained in, and that best practice requirements in terms of food storage, hygiene and stock rotation are maintained.
In Collaboration with Senior Chef manages, directs, trains and coaches the performance of all kitchen personnel and through personal example, together with the senior kitchen team, creates a professional, fair and supportive working environment by which our Colleagues can succeed.
To be successful in the role you will have at least one year experience in the same or similar position at a luxury hotel/high end restaurant and proven experience supervisor Chefs/Cooks teams to meet a level of high performance across service, quality, presentation and production.
