The Role
Reporting to the Sourcing Portfolio Manager, the Sourcing Specialist role sits within our wider Sourcing and Partnerships team.
You will be responsible for working collaboratively and proactively with key stakeholders from across the business to understand and engage with the supply market on key business needs and objectives.
You will play a support role to the Sourcing Portfolio Manager and Sourcing Specialists in the team on Strategic Projects and Supplier engagements, whilst leading the sourcing for Resource Augmentation and lower spend and risk engagements.
About you
A developing Procurement and/or Sourcing Specialist, you possess a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar capacity within a highly regulated environment. Transferable skills and willingness to learn Procurement will be considered
You possess foundational understanding and knowledge in the end-to-end supply chain and procurement lifecycle including contracts negotiations and executions/extensions and working with external suppliers on any source to contract market activities.
You have the passion and ambition to continue furthering your development and career in the sourcing and procurement space with the willingness to pro-actively take ownership of tasks and activities assigned to you.
Lastly, you possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive delivery of any business objectives and outcomes.
