The Job Company Pty Ltd on behalf of The Trustee for Lil' Angels Early Learning Centre ATF T&T Phan Family Trust T/A Lil' Angels Early Learning Centre Melton  (ABN 48 138 237 367) Is seeking skilled and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Melton, 3337. The ideal candidates should have hands on experience in all the general duties and responsibilities of a Early Childhood Teacher : 

1 Position: Early Childhood Teacher 

Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation 

Hours: 38 per week 

Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment that supports each child’s development, wellbeing and learning outcomes.
  • Observe, document and assess children's learning and developmental progress, and use findings to plan future learning experiences.
  • Lead and mentor educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care practices.
  • Build positive and collaborative relationships with children, families, educators and community stakeholders.
  • Support children's transition to school through targeted educational programs and learning experiences.
  • Promote inclusive practices that respect diversity, cultural backgrounds and the individual needs of all children.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), Child Safe Standards and relevant legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records, learning documentation and developmental assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), and support a culture of professional excellence within the centre.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum required knowledge of Early Years learning Framework and relevant laws.
  • Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA) 
  • Accredited Child Protection Training and other relevant training.
  • Mandatory Working with Children check and National Police check.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the relevant law-regulation-acts
