About the Role
We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented Site Clerk to manage on-site administration, quality control, and safety compliance. You will act as the central point of contact for project documentation, ensuring our construction project runs smoothly, safely, and meets all quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Administration & Documentation
Document Control: Maintain an organised register of project drawings, specifications, and RFIs.
Daily Logs: Record daily progress, weather conditions, equipment usage, and site incidents.
Reporting: Input accurate site data into formal project reporting systems daily.
Quality Control & Inspections
Material Tracking: Monitor deliveries, verify quantities against purchase orders, and log storage conditions.
Workmanship Verification: Visually inspect completed work to ensure strict adherence to engineer design specifications.
Defect Reporting: Identify and report poor workmanship or non-compliant materials early to prevent rework.
Safety & Compliance
Safety Monitoring: Ensure all workers comply with site safety protocols and wear proper PPE.
Hazard Inspections: Conduct regular site hazard inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
Regulatory Adherence: Verify that construction methods meet local shire standards and building regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Work Rights: Must hold full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Licences: Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport.
Safety: Valid general construction induction card (White Card).
Experience: Proven experience as a Site Clerk, Construction Administrator, or similar site-based role.
Skills: Strong understanding of engineering drawings, document control, and local shire standards.
