We have immediate start opportunities a SIL site in Newcastle (Waratah) with the client starting from 10th June 2026 (with earlier start for training)

Qualifications

We are looking for support workers ideally with a qualification in:

• Certificate III in Individual Supports

• Certificate IV in Disability

• Certificate III in Aged Care

• Certificate IV in Aged Care

Experience: minimum 3+ years of active experience.

Skill Sets Required

• Manual handling (1:1 sit to stand transfers + Sara Stedy clients. Hoist experience is a bonus)

• Medication Administration

• Personal care for showering and toileting.

• Stroke

• Intellectual Disability

• Acquired Brain Injury

• Cerebral Palsy

• Schizophrenia

• Epilepsy

• Diabetes

• Behaviours of Concern

Shifts are seven days a week (times are not flexible)

Client 1 (Male)

Day Shift 1: 6am to 1pm (7 hours)

Day Shift 2: 1pm to 8pm (7 hours)

Night Shift: 8pm to 6am (10 hours active)

Client 2 (Male)

Monday to Friday: 10am to 7.30pm

Saturday and Sunday: Two shifts of 10am to 2pm + 4pm to 8pm

Active Night Shift: 11pm to 8am  (7 days a week)

Sleepovers: sleepover shifts may happen with future clients but Client 1 and Client 2 are active nights.

Pay rates depend on level of experience and qualifications held.
