A Monday to Friday work opportunity exists for a shed storeman/forklift operator at Story Fresh's Cambooya factory.  This requires a person who has the following characteristics:

• is very reliable

• must have a current forklift license, and have at least 2 years experience operating forklifts preferably in a warehouse type position and be able to demonstrate a high level of competency

• has good written and verbal communication skills

• is able to follow policies and procedures in the workplace

• able to handle pressure and prioritise tasks

• complete routine documentation, legibly and accurately as instructed

• able to self manage a range of tasks on a daily and weekly schedule

The role is multi-tasked and involves:

• ensuring organised and efficient flow of product and supplies ont teh factory floor;

• loading and unloading trucks;

• organisation of packaging and quality maintenance of raw materials;

• setups for the following day shift; 

• general cleaning and housekeeping of the coldrooms and external areas;

• routine daily stocktakes, documentation and record keeping;

• working both inside and outdoors.

On-the-job training provided to support the experienced forklift operator.  This role is 52 weeks of the year.
