Springside Kindergarten was established in 2009 to support the growing needs of the Melton community. Located on the grounds of Springside Primary School, we have developed strong partnerships that support positive outcomes for children and families and provide a smooth transition to school.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. 37 hours per week working across 2 groups over five days.

Working alongside a team of experienced teachers and educators, you will contribute to the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs, support children's learning and wellbeing, and build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

The Successful Applicant Will Have

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

• Current Working with Children Check

• Current First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement), including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training

• Current Mandatory Reporting and GECCKO certificates (or willingness to complete)

• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to providing a safe, inclusive and child-focused learning environment

The successful applicant will be required to participate in child safe recruitment processes, including referee checks and verification of relevant qualifications and clearances.
