Work for a Local Council based in Northern Sydney. Due to a secondment in the team, our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant with Local Council to manage a team of 2 highly performing Management Accountants.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

A 12-month opportunity. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for management duties, and the budgeting, forecasting and preparation of the annual budget, revenue pricing policy, long term financial plan, performance monitoring and more.

DUTIES.

• Supervise a team of 2 management accountants
• Compilation of costing information for pricing decisions
• Preparation of the annual budget, financial summary information and development of annual capital works program
• Maintain Fees and Charges online register
• Conduct quarterly budget reviews
• Cost evaluation, financial analysis & more

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or relevant
• Experience as a Management Accountant in Local Council
• Proficiency with TechOne
• Experience managing a team of 2+
